Meet the artist
In the early 2000s, despite years of self-doubt about my artistic skills, I decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming an artist. Enrolling in art classes marked the beginning of my journey, although I often felt like an aspiring artist rather than a fully-fledged one. Thankfully, my friends provided the encouragement I needed to share my newfound artwork with the world. So, I started creating handmade greeting cards to sell. Thankfully those same supportive friends were my first loyal customers. Although I probably spent more money on creating the cards than I was making in sales, it was still a thrill whenever someone wanted to buy one of my cards. I soon discovered an online greeting card company where you could upload a digital version of your card and they would take care of the rest: printing, mailing, billing, etc. So, with the help of my good friend Kim, our first online card store, called Rycky Creations, was born in June 2008.
Transitioning from handmade cards to digital designs opened up a whole new world of possibilities, sparking my creativity to explore beyond the realm of traditional greeting cards. It wasn't long before I found myself exploring other avenues of product design and, most recently, testing the waters of surface pattern design.
Today, I'm proud to share my artwork with you online, offering a diverse range of digital cards and gifts that reflect my unique style and personality. Each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail, with the hope of bringing a little bit of joy and inspiration into your life.

Rycky Creations
Rycky Creations began in 2008 as a collaboration of two friends,
Robin & Kim. At the time, Kim had been trying to talk Robin into using her God-given artistic talent publicly, rather than just for personal pleasure and use. Since Robin enjoyed painting and photography, and Kim was an aspiring writer, they decided to combine their talents and
Rycky Creations was born.
Where did the name
"Rycky Creations"
come from?
When Robin and Kim were trying to come up with something original to name their new adventure,
they kicked around several different ideas, but settled on a compilation of their initials:
Robin = RYC Kim = KYC

In 2015, Rycky Creations’ business partner, Kim, passed away after a long cancer battle. Sure miss this beautiful friend; her kindness, encouragement, support, honesty, her quirky sense of humor, and her Godly example … a friend who knew me well, and loved me anyway!

Simply Put by Robin (SPBR) began in 2011 when Robin discovered third-party graphic websites and decided to take designing in a different direction. While Rycky cards were created using Robin’s original paintings or photos, and included original verses by Kim, SPBR cards and gifts are created with both third-party graphics, as well as Robin's own digitally created graphics.
Simply Vintage by Robin (SVBR) was opened in 2012 after Robin discovered a couple of websites offering free vintage graphics. Although the SVBR store is much smaller than the other Simply Robin stores and needs some work, it brings back those nostalgic memories of a simpler time gone by.
Our Simply Scripture store began
in 2015 as a way for Robin to share some of her favorite bible verses,
and is dedicated to anyone who is passionate about the Word of God.
